Welcome to my website! I am an economist at the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco studying topics related to climate change, international trade, economic growth, and development. I received my PhD in economics from the University of Chicago in 2019, where I stayed for a 2-year pre-job-market postdoctoral fellowship affiliated with the Climate Impact Lab and the Energy Policy Institute. Prior to joining the Fed, I spent the 2021-22 academic year as a postdoctoral fellow in the International Economics Section at Princeton.
Starting in the 2025-26 school year, I will be starting a new position as an assistant professor of public policy at the Harvard Kennedy School and an affiliate of the Salata Institute for Climate and Sustainability at Harvard.
We are currently recruiting for pre-doctoral research fellows at the Salata Institute to begin in the summer/fall of 2025. If you are interested, please see here for the application.
